Police officers operating in the eastern Galilee Bedouin village of Tuba-Zangariyye have carried out an inspection of the roadworthiness of 91 vehicles. Twenty-one of them were removed from the road and their owners received traffic reports.
One of the vehicles taken off the road was a concrete truck without brakes. The license of its driver was suspended for the 30 days the truck is off the road and he was summoned for a traffic-court hearing. A truck carrying 34 gas cylinders without a permit was seized. The truck's driver was summoned for a criminal investigation.
