Yesterday, a report was received about a rabid puppy found in Kibbutz Gonen in the Upper Galilee. It was described as of Celtic breed, brown fur, weighing 6-7 kg.
The Ministry of Health requests that anyone who has been in contact with infected animal or stray in the area of the report, between July 8th and 22nd or has animals that may have come into contact to contact the Health Office in Tzfat, 04-6994257, 04-6994200 or the Health Office closest to one's place of residence, in order to consider the need for preventive treatment. After working hours, one should go to a hospital emergency room.
