Moldova is expected to be the next country to transfer its official representation to Jerusalem, according to Israeli public radio.
According to the report, Moldova agreed to do so on the condition that Israel open an embassy in the capital city Kishinev. About 20,000 Jews now live in Moldova. Israel has never had an embassy there, except for a consulate that closed in 2015.
