President Reuven Rivlin paid a condolence visit to the home of the Staff Sergeant Aviv Levi, who was killed by sniper fire on the Gaza border last Friday.
Rivlin told the bereaved family, "Your child protected us all," said the president, adding, "All of our security is based on these young soldiers who bear the burden of defending our country, because of them we are developing our country. This is our power and this is our pain."
