On Tisha B'Av, Knesset Speaker Edelstein calls for unity

Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein expressed the need for unity in Israel in a Facebook post for Tisha B'Av.

"Specifically at a time that symbolizes more than anything else the need for national unity, the internal Israeli discourse is again rising to high, sharp and angry tones," Edelstein wrote. "Sometimes it seems that Jerusalem, the city that was built to unite us, is once again sitting alone."

"Perhaps we should stop dividing and everything will be okay," Edelstein added.
