Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas said on Thursday that Al-Quds (the Arab name of Jerusalem -ed.) is the eternal capital of the “state of Palestine.”
A statement issued on behalf of Abbas said that there would be no peace, security or stability for anyone without Al-Quds and that no one has the authority to give it up.
