Members of the LIBA Center for preserving the Jewish character of the state approached Knesset members this morning calling for the suspension of the nationality law and not allowing the vote on it in the summer session.

In a position paper sent today to the Knesset, the center warned of a substantive fear of recognition of the Reform movements, the wholesale bringing of gentiles to Israel and the opening of all trade in Israel on Shabbat. It said postponement of the vote was needed to take the time to correct the bill.
