The joint committee on the Nationality bill is reconvening this morning to vote on Article 7, which was reworded after the understandings reached between Prime Minister and Minister Naftali Bennett.
According to the amended version to be voted by the committee members, Article 7 states: "The State views the development of Jewish settlement as a national value and will act to encourage and promote its establishment and consolidation." It had referred to Jewish-only communities.
