Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow managed to prevent 25 million cyberattacks on the country's infrastructure during the World Cup.
"Throughout the duration of the World Cup, we neutralized almost 25 million cyber attacks and other criminal activities against the information infrastructure of Russia, which, in one way or another, were associated with the holding of the World Cup,” Putin said according to RT.
Putin made the remarks during a meeting on Sunday evening with members of the security council for the World Cup.
