It has been disclosed that a 40-year-old resident of Eilat was arrested by the police on suspicion of setting fire to a field near the Nahal Soreq Camp, which caused extensive environmental damage.
The suspect's remand was extended last week by four days, and today he was brought for a second hearing at the Magistrates Court in Rishon Letzion, where his detention was extended for an additional four days. The investigation into the circumstances of the arson continues.
