The state will petition the Supreme Court today to postpone the expiration of the military enlistment law - which was canceled by the Court - for another seven months, against the background of the severe disagreements in the Knesset around a new military draft bill.
However, it is not clear whether it will be possible to reach agreements by the end of this period, that will enable the enactment of a new enlistment law.
