Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's Likud Party would get 33 Knessets if elections were held today, according to a new poll by Magar Mochot (Brain Base) for the Makor Rishon newspaper. Yesh Atid would be second with 20 mandates, the Joint List and Zionist Union would tie for third with 11 each, one ahed of Jewish Home.
The poll surveyed 514 people at the beginning of July with a 4.3-percent margin of error. Tied with seven seats were Kulanu and United Torah Judaism, one ahead of Yisrael Beytenu and the party headed by former Yisrael Beytenu Knesset member Orly Levi Abekasis. Meretz would garner five mandates and Shas, while listed with four seats, would not clear the threshold for staying in the Knesset.
