The U.S. government said on Monday it can only reunite for now about half the immigrant children under age 5 who were separated from their parents at the U.S. border.
A U.S. Judge last month ordered the government to reunite the approximately 100 children under the age of 5 by Tuesday, and the remaining 2,000 older children by July 26.
