Former British foreign secretary Boris Johnson confirmed, Monday, that his resignation was in response to Prime Minister Theresa May's handling of the United Kingdom's pullout from the European Union.
Posting his resignation letter on Twitter, Johnson said "We appear to be heading for a semi-Brexit, with large parts of the economy locked in the EU system, but with no UK control over that system."
