The Israel Defense Forces have confirmed that the prime minister and defense minister have accepted the chief of staff's recommendation and that as of Monday the Kerem Shalom crossing has been closed, except for humanitarian equipment that will be approved on an individual basis by the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, and exports or marketing of goods from Gaza will not be carried out.
