In a summary, which was approved Thursday by the Knesset Labor, Welfare and Health Committee, it was decided that the Health Authority will ensure that a device for administering epinephrine for allergic students is placed in educational institutions, including daycare centers and preschools, before granting a license to open them. The summary is in conjunction with a bill by MK Yehuda Glick, which is expected to pass its final readings next week.

It was further determined that the Minister of Health, in consultation with the Minister of Education and the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, will establish regulations regarding related to the devices and response to allergy attacks. In addition, public institutions will be able to purchase epinephrine drugs without a prescription, after signing a declaration that they are purchasing the preparation for placing it in a public place.
