Haredi-religious Jews took to the streets of Jerusalem on Monday evening to protest the first reading of a bill regulating induction into the Israel Defense Forces, according to Channel 10 Television.
The haredim fear the measure will take draft-age students out of yeshivas. They blocked roads, making it difficult for vehicles to pass.
