Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman spoke, over the weekend, with Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu on the situation in Syria, with an emphasis on events in the south of the country and Iran's attempts to establish itself in Syria.
Liberman stressed once again that Israel's goal is to remove the forces of Iran and Hezbollah from all of Syria and that Israel will act immediately, in any case where it identifies an Iranian attempt to establish itself.
