Social Equality Minister Gila Gamliel has denied being appointed to chair or be a member of the Committee for the Holy Places.
Calling reports to that effect false, Gamliel said, "The prime minister made it clear that he was the head of the committee, instead of Minister Regev. I did not receive any concrete proposal from the prime minister to be a member of the committee, nor did I ask for such a membership from the prime minister or anyone on his behalf."
