Owners of the Rav-Kav transportation card can load the card with rides at thousands of Casponet automatic teller machines throughout the country at no charge.
Most of the loading is currently done by bus drivers, which increases the lines on the bus, causing delays and inconvenience to customers and other passengers, and sometimes even safety risks. Jerusalem recently went to a system where tickets must be bought before boarding buses.
