Israel's Yad Vashem Holocaust museum said that it supported the decision by the Polish government to fix a law criminalizing any mention of Poland's culpability in the Holocaust.
"Yad Vashem views the announcement by the Polish government on Wednesday as to the intention to amend the controversial law, positive development and a step in the right direction," said a statement. "We believe that the correct way to correct historical distortions and erroneous historical perceptions is through educational and research activities that will be conducted in a free and open manner."
