ABC on Thursday announced that it had ordered a spinoff to comedy series Roseanne, without the involvement of actress Roseanne Barr.
The original writers, producers and cast members will appear in the new show, given the working title The Conners. The network cancelled Roseanne last month following a series of inappropriate tweets by Barr.
