Zionist Union leader Avi Gabbay praised MK Isaac Herzog in the wake of his expected appointment to head the Jewish Agency.
"I congratulate MK Buji Herzog on the decision of the appointments committee to appoint him as chairman of the Jewish Agency. He is the right person in the right place to connect American and world Jewry back to Israel," Gabbay said.
