An explosion was heard a short time ago near one of the inspection posts manned by Border Police officers at the entrance to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron.
Police sappers are making their way to the scene. There are no reports of injuries at this time. The possibility that the explosion was caused by a device that was thrown at the officers is being examined.
