The Haifa District Court handed down sentences on Thursday to four employees of the "Neot HaKefet HaZahav" retirement home who were convicted in a plea bargain for abusing the helpless tenants they treated.
Two therapists were sentenced to 18 months in prison and another was sentenced to nine months in prison. A nurse, who was in charge of the ward where the abuse took place, was sentenced to six months of community service. In addition, they must make financial compensation.
