Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon, who is a member of the political-security cabinet, said that Israel should act vis-à-vis the residents of Gaza and not the terrorists from Hamas.
"There are a lot of ways to help the population through intermediaries ... We must understand that any move that strengthens Hamas will harm us, the residents of Gaza and the Palestinian Authority, which we still consider a partner," said Kahlon.
