Dozens of municipal rabbis from both sides of the 1949 Armistice Line and yeshiva heads demanded from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked onTuesday, that the legal process in the Duma arson case be stopped and that a committee of inquiry be set up.
They argue that the two steps must be taken because of the tortures that the defendants have undergone which led to the extraction of false confessions in the 2015 burning of a home in the Samarian Palestinian Authority village of Duma, in which a baby and his parents were killed.
