The police detained a senior member of a Jerusalem-area local council and a former senior official of the council on Tuesday morning for questioning on suspicion of sexual harassment.
A woman who worked for the council complained that during the course of her work the two men apparently harassed her. A search was conducted in the offices of the council in an attempt to locate evidence related to the investigation.
