The Ministry of Public Security and the Israel Prisons Service have formulated a solution that will enable haredi prisoners to wear hats and suits in prison synagogues.
At the request of Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, it was decided that the Prisons Service would allow prayers with the prisoners' personal hats and suits until the IPS purchases "kits" for the worshipers.
