Southern Command Commander Major General Eyal Zamir talked about the numerous IDF attacks in the Gaza Strip during the last days, following the massive rocket fire into Israel.
"We have attacked very important values that have waited a long time for their opportunity, and I think that at this point in time we have a very great achievement here in this context," said Zamir.
"On the other hand, we have to say that there are quite a few barrages that were fired at our outposts. Most of the rockets were intercepted by Iron Dome or fell in open areas. (There are) still deep deterrents of the terrorist organizations and Hamas, and as I said at the beginning of my speech - their reluctance to reach a broad campaign," Zamir added.
