The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against Avraham Hai Hasson, 43, in the city's District Court for an offense of aggravated sabotage on the grounds of an argument with his neighbor.
The defendant lives with his family near the complainant's home in Tzur Hadassah. The indictment alleges that a few days ago, in the context of an argument between the defendant's family and the complainant's family, the defendant took a knife with a 20-cm-long blade from his home, placed it in his waist and pulled quickly from his home toward the complainant.
On his way, his wife tried to prevent him from approaching the complainant and shouted at him to stop and enter the house. But the defendant struggled with her, pushed her off, managed to free herself. Then he pulled the knife from his waist and ran toward the complainant, swung the knife at him, stabbed it hard with the complainant's right forearm, and cut it for about 12 cm.
The prosecution is trying to arrest the defendant until the end of legal proceedings against him.
