Police arrested three residents of northern Israel Tuesday morning, following a yearlong undercover operation, on suspicion of fraud, money laundering and aggravated forgery to the tune of 30 million shekels.
The group is suspected of conspiring to systematically deceive dozens of victims by misrepresenting assistance and business advice while gaining their trust. When the money was received from them, they denied the deal in various ways.
