Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Tuesday, "We are working against Iranian consolidation in all of Syria, not only in the south, and the long-range missiles that it produces will endanger us for a few kilometers in southern Syria."
Referring to reports that Israel had reached an agreement with Russia to keep Iran and allies such as Hezbollah away from the Golan Heights, he continued, "Iran should leave Syria as a whole - we do not share the understanding that we agreed to less than that."
