Member of Knesset Aliza Lavie said, Tuesday, that the recently-stated "conditions of the American secretary of state for Iran, coupled with the Russian position on the need to withdraw all foreign forces from Syria and restrict Iran, create a better geopolitical reality for Israel. But in the great regional game that is taking place in the entire Middle East between factions, communities and countries and the active involvement of the superpowers, Israel is not a major player and that's good. Israel must avoid entering regional issues that deviate from Israel's interest and focus on two issues that are vital to its security."

Writing on Twitter, she explained, "One is the long-term neutralization of Iran's nuclear capability and the second is the dismantling of the rocket arsenal in Lebanon and not building such a system in Syria."
