Former Peace Now leader Yariv Oppenheimer reacted to the mortar attack on Gaza-area communities by saying, "War is bad and a rocket on a kindergarten is a horror, so the government has to do everything to prevent it."
Oppenheimer continued, "Mere military force and fighting will not be enough and will bring more shooting from the other side and casualties. Only reaching an agreement and changing the reality within Gaza will give hope to everyone living near the border. It is possible. Such a proposal is out there."
