Environmental Protection Minister Ze'ev Elkin said, Monday, that he has decided not to apply the deposit law on bottles of 1.5 liters.
Writing on Twitter, Elkin said that "the imposition of such a deposit would cause the transfer of another 200 million shekels to private individuals, raise the cost of living and harm the weaker sectors of the population."
