France called on the Israeli authorities, Monday, not to implement demolition orders against the illegal Khan Al-Ahmar Bedouin outpost along the Jerusalem-Dead Sea Highway in the boundaries of Kfar Adumim.
A Foreign Ministry statement said, "These demolition orders pose an imminent threat to an already extremely vulnerable Palestinian community in an area of strategic importance to the two-state solution and the contiguity of a future Palestinian state." It also said, "The demolition of infrastructures in the West Bank, leading to evacuations and forced transfers of populations, is contrary to international humanitarian law, and in particular to the Fourth Geneva Convention."
