The Knesset is not expected to vote this week on recognition of the Armenian genocide, despite the proposal by MK Tamar Zandberg's (Meretz) request to hold a vote tomorrow, according to Kan.
According to the report, Zandberg accuses Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein of succumbing to pressures from the foreign ministry and the government. People close to Edelstein explained that the postponement was intended to enable the mobilization of a majority in order not to humiliate the Knesset.
