The state informed the Supreme Court on Sunday that it would grant status to some 300 infiltrators from Sudan.
Responding to petitions before the court, the state wrote, "Following discussions and examination of the issue, it was decided that as a first step, 300 Sudanese from the Darfur region would be granted a class A/5 status (temporary resident status, similar to a refugee) for humanitarian reasons."
