Deputy Attorney General Raz Nizri said on Sunday that a measure to give the Knesset the power to override Supreme Court invalidation of the laws it passes, "is not the end of democracy," as has been claimed.
Speaking at the Bar Association conference in Eilat, Nizri added, "The relationship between the authorities should be regulated by the Basic Law on Legislation, and not by separate override, which, by itself, is a crutch."
