Rabbi Elyakim Levanon, the Rabbi of Samaria and the Rabbi of Elon Moreh, has been hospitalized at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem after suffering heart failure. His condition is stable.
The head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, called on the public to pray for the healing of Rabbi Elyakim ben Chaya Freida. "Rabbi Elyakim Levanon is one of the great leaders of the generation. We pray for his quick and complete recovery and his speedy return to his home and to the spiritual leadership of Samaria."
