Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked explained, Thursday, the decision to change the law that determines the authority to declare war.
Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, Shaked said, "These days, it is impossible to know which situation things will deteriorate and it is impossible to ensure that all cabinet members will be available. The simple thing is the right thing - the government is giving authority to the cabinet."
