Israel's ambassador to the Hague sent a protest letter on Tuesday to the management of a Dutch channel which broadcast a satirical program that mocked Netta Barzilai and the song that won the Eurovision Song Contest.
The program featured a famous comedienne who dressed up as Barzilai, and criticized the activities of IDF soldiers in Gaza. Among other things, the comic sang, "Look how beautifully I launch my missiles," "The world's leaders obediently eat from my palm," "Palestinians are not invited to my party," "The Al-Aqsa Mosque will be empty soon," "Look how wonderful, I'm throwing a bomb," and "There will be no Palestine here."
