    Financial sanction on Bezeq for misleading consumers

    The Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Authority has notified the Bezeq communications company of its intention to impose a financial sanction on it in the amount of NIS 243,000.

    The Authority cited Bezeq for misleading consumers when it advertised a service against computer viruses and hacking. The company has the right to make claims both against the intention to impose a monetary sanction and for its amount, within 45 days of being notified.
