A group of demonstrators attacked an American vehicle carrying diplomatic license plates on Monday in the Palestinian Authority town of Beit Jala, near Bethlehem, threw eggs at the car and shouted slogans against the United States in protest against the transfer of the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
