The Regavim movement for preservation of state lands has welcomed the approval of the regulations in the Interior Committee on Monday, which allow for administrative fines for offenses of illegal construction and for breaching demolition orders.
The movement issued a statement which said, "After years of stalemate, the 'proof stage' has now reached the point where it will be possible to see whether the state will act against the 'plague of this country".
