Director-General Avigail Sherara of the Association of Police and Jailers' Wives has filed a complaint with the Knesset Ethics Committee, demanding that it examine an incident in which Chairman Ayman Odeh of the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties cursed a police officer.
Sherara wrote to the committee, "His behavior crosses a clear red line and sends a problematic message to the Israeli public, the essence of which is to challenge the legitimacy of the police."
