Communications Professor Amir Hetsroni is suing Facebook for blocking his account without warning during what he called scientific research and a campaign for a rightwing organization. He did not give details but it appears to be related to a video clip produced by the Hazon Leumi (National Vision) organization.
Hetsroni is seeking to have his account restored immediately and access to content used in libel suits related to material used against him on Facebook in the past. He compared Facebook's behavior to that of East Germany at the height of its power before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
