Platoon commander faces discipline for protesting Polish Shoah law

A cadet in a course for Israel Defense Forces company commanders who participated in a delegation of "uniformed witnesses" in Poland last week took out a sign in the Auschwitz concentration camp in which he wrote in Polish "You too had a part" in protest of the new Polish law against blaming Poland and its people for Holocaust-era Nazi crimes.

IDF Radio reported that a storm arose in the area and was filmed by the Polish security forces which issued a complaint against him. The IDF responded that the soldier would be disciplined in the coming days by his commanders.
