President Reuven Rivlin said on Thursday that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's remarks about Gaza were ridiculous and that he should reconsider, according to walla!.

Speaking at Kibbutz Alumim during a tour of the Gaza vicinity, Rivlin said, "I do not want to interfere in the dialogue between the Turks and Israel. I believe we should refrain from saying something that we'll regret. There are ups and downs in the dialogue with Israel. No one in Turkey would allow [someone] to threaten its borders."
